Trufresh is teaming with Pescanova USA to help boost retail distribution of its shrimp and seafood products in North America.
Trufresh said Monday its sales and marketing collaboration will help both Florida-based companies improve their profile and reach.
Trufresh has a strong distribution network in North America's foodservice sector, while Pescanova USA has deep penetration in the retail sector.
With Trufresh just debuting its first retail line of shrimp products -- salsa verde and lemon herb marinade shrimp -- the company says linking with Pescanova will help to make its frozen shrimp more readily available to consumers throughout the United States.
“Pescanova USA provides the highest quality seafood in the world, including the shrimp we use for our new retail line,” said Kevin Vandervoort, CEO of Trufresh. “While we’ve made inroads with our products throughout the Northeast, PescanovaUSA will support our strategy to continue our growth in the retail class of trade.”
Pescanova USA says it will look to benefit from the long-standing relationships that Trufresh maintains within the foodservice industry.
